Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for juniors towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition or a School Sport Australia national championships. Community Heritage Grants

The National Library of Australia administers this program to provide grants to not-for-profit organisations such as archives, historical societies, museums and libraries, to assist with the preservation of nationally significant collections of historical material.

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) offers a variety of grants for a wide range of purposes and activities to our support veterans and to honour the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service men and women.

Stronger Communities Programme

Funding of up to $150,000 in each Federal Electorate will be available in 2018-19. Applicants are required to match the Stronger Communities Programme grant in cash or in-kind on at least a dollar for dollar basis.
